The third-party service providers AspirePro LLC uses to deliver AspirePro, and what each one does. This list supports our Data Processing Addendum and Privacy Policy.
1. What a sub-processor is#
A sub-processor is a third-party service provider that processes customer data on our behalf so we can run AspirePro — hosting, backups, email delivery, and similar. We hold each of them to data-protection obligations consistent with our own commitments in the Data Processing Addendum, and we only share what the service needs to do its job.
2. Core sub-processors#
These providers are part of running the platform for every workspace:
- Entity — Purpose — Location
- DigitalOcean, LLC — Cloud infrastructure hosting the application and customer databases — United States
- Cloudflare, Inc. — DNS, content delivery, Web Application Firewall, DDoS mitigation, and bot protection (Turnstile) — Global edge network (HQ United States)
- Amazon Web Services, Inc. — Encrypted database backup storage (Amazon S3) — United States
- Stripe, Inc. — Subscription payment processing, checkout, and billing portal — United States
- SMTP2GO (Pty) Ltd — Transactional email delivery (notifications, invitations, billing emails) — New Zealand / United States
- Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) — Application error monitoring and diagnostics — United States
- xAI Corp. — Large-language-model processing (Grok) for the Prox AI assistant and AI features, when a user invokes them — under enterprise API terms that prohibit training on this content — United States
3. Customer-directed integrations#
These providers process data only if your organization chooses to connect them. You control whether they are used, which accounts are connected, and can disconnect them at any time:
- Entity — Purpose (when connected)
- Microsoft Corporation — Calendar and email sync via Microsoft 365 / Graph, when a user connects their Microsoft account
- Google LLC — Calendar and email sync via Google Workspace, when a user connects their Google account
- HubSpot, Inc. — Two-way CRM synchronization, when an organization connects its HubSpot portal
- Intuit Inc. (QuickBooks Online) — Invoice and customer synchronization, when an organization connects QuickBooks
Some features connect to services under your own account and credentials — for example, the Notetaker module connects to a meeting-recording provider that your organization chooses and configures itself. Providers you bring this way are your own vendors rather than our sub-processors, and your relationship with them is governed by your agreement with that provider.
4. Changes to this list#
When we add or replace a core sub-processor, we’ll update this page and its date. Customers with a Data Processing Addendum in place may object to a new sub-processor on reasonable data-protection grounds as described in the DPA.
